Ms. Ann Marie is an award-winning dancer, teacher, choreographer, actress, and singer who has been teaching and dancing professionally for over twenty years. She has both studied with and had her work performed for Emmy winning choreographers Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Tyce Diorio, Brian Friedman, Cris Judd, Chuck Maldonado and Kevin Maher, among others. Ms. Ann Marie is looking forward to sharing her love of the performing arts, and her unique skill set with students of all ages!
Instructor Tori Karalis
Ms. Tori is thrilled to join the teaching staff at AMS Dance Collective! Originally from Chicagoland, her training includes Kenneth Von Heidecke’s Chicago Festival Ballet, Underground Arts Connection, Fox Ballet, and Joffrey Academy with a focus on ballet, pointe, contemporary, and modern. She furthered her training at the Nashville Ballet as well as in summer intensives with BalletMet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Elements Contemporary Ballet, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago where she learned from notable artists such as Dereque Whiturs, Mitchell Moore, Laurie Stallings, Guy de Bock, Troy Powell, Myrna Kamara, Victoria Vargas, Karen Arceneaux, Jaclyn Buglisi, Ana Marie Forsythe, Tracy Inman, Kevin Predmore, Eddie Stockton, April Berry, Gerard Charles, Vanessa Valecillos, and Guillermo Leyva. Ms. Tori’s performance and professional credits include numerous ensemble and soloist roles in Kenneth Von Heidecke’s The Nutcracker and Cinderella, Josie Davis’s WakeUp! Waltz, and Terry Fox’s original solo in the 2009 Tanzolymp International Dance Festival in Berlin, Germany, among others. She also enjoys learning new styles of dance such as ballroom, Latin, and contra. Ms. Tori is excited to share her love of dance with all students in AMSDC’s ballet, pointe, and contemporary classes. She will advise all students, as her first ballet teacher used to say, to “Dance with passion!”
