"A dream come true are the words to describe my excitement working for AMS Dance Collective!"
Myrisha is originally from small-town Centralia, Illinois but has been in Indiana for the last 7 years. She's been a dancer since the young age of 5. Her training includes performance, competition, and parade teams in Hip-Hop, Jazz and Pom. Myrisha is a former High School and College Dance team member. She also has a successful community travelling Parade and Performance dance team in Anderson, Indiana that she established, and continues to build, on her own for that past 6 years. She has had the honor to be trained in other styles of dance by Ms Ann Marie; Tap being my favorite thus far. Myrisha is excited to continue to share her talents with the students at AMS Dance Collective and have high hopes to expand the studio and train more students to be the dancers they'd love to be.
"I want every student to have fun, love what they're doing, and feel and look good while doing it!"
Maddie is currently a Senior at Noblesville High School and has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Maddie has experience dancing many different styles of dance like Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and is also on the Noblesville High School Miller Girl’s Dance Team where she has performed for many school events as well as larger ones (halftime at an IU Football game and pregame at a Pacer’s game). Maddie took a major interest in teaching and choreographing after Ms. Ann Marie put her in charge of the 2019 Summer Dance Camp and has choreographed many dances for AMS, but also had the amazing opportunity to choreograph a Pom routine that the Miller Girl’s Dance Team performed at a few home basketball games. Maddie’s main goal while teaching is to get her students comfortable with performing and opening them up to stage presence to not only allow them to have an entertaining performance but to boost their overall confidence and self-esteem.
"I don't just dance. I perform, I breathe. I watch the world disappear."
Morgan has been a dancer her whole life. She comes to us after spending time as a Director at South Mountain College in Phoenix, AZ from May 2016 to May 2018. She is well versed in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Modern. We are excited to have her join the AMSDC family and cannot wait to see what she brings to the Teen classes.
